BRAIN -
A PERFORMANCE
2026 | Work in Development
A solo performance exploring what remains when identity begins to dissolve.
Brain is an evolving solo performance investigating the fragile threshold where identity begins to dissolve. Combining movement, voice, breath, AI-generated music, and an immersive audiovisual environment, the work explores how memory, perception, and selfhood become unstable when the structures that organize experience begin to unravel. Drawing from neuroscience, Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, and lived experience, the performance brings together questions that have developed throughout my practice into a single embodied work.

45-minute full-length performance
This 7 minute prototype was developed as part of the Olga Roriz Dance Theatre Training Program and presented over two evenings at Those Who Dance in Lisbon, Portugal. The performance explores the emerging movement vocabulary of Brain using voice, breath, lighting, and an original AI-generated soundscape. It forms the foundation for a larger 45-minute immersive performance currently in development.
The current prototype investigates the physical and vocal language of the work. The full performance expands this research into an immersive installation where projections, sound, and generative media continuously respond to the performer, creating a different experience each time it is presented. This direction reflects the project's long-term vision of a 45-minute performance in which movement, voice, improvisation, and a custom audiovisual system unfold together.

FROM PROTOTYPE TO PERFORMANCE
VISUAL WORLD
The visual environment is currently under development and grows from the visual language established across my earlier works. Organic forms, underwater ecosystems, botanical imagery, and AI-generated transformations will become the evolving landscape surrounding the performer.
