SHARED EXPERIENCE
Buddhaverse was conceived as a place for gathering. Visitors were invited to rest, converse, share tea, and spend time together inside the installation.

Buddhaverse
2021 | IMMERSIVE INSTALLATION
Buddhaverse began as an attempt to build the world I wished existed.
Drawing from Tibetan murals, the compassion mandala, and my own experience of personal transformation, the project explores how immersive environments can shape emotional experience, imagination, and collective connection.

CONCEPT REFLECTION
Buddhaverse emerged from a growing interest in how environments can influence the way we feel.
While researching multisensory therapy rooms, I became fascinated by the ability of light, sound, textiles, scent, and color to create spaces that could comfort, calm, and transform experience. Rather than working with a single medium, I began thinking about how different materials could interact to create a shared atmosphere.
This shift fundamentally changed my practice. Buddhaverse became an early exploration of environment as a medium—one where transformation emerged not from a single artwork, but from the relationships between materials, people, and space.
